This slogan began H. Jack's quest for a premier, customer orientated, plumbing and drain cleaning company when, in 1980 short on capital and long on determination, he founded H. Jack Langer Inc.

With the support and assistance of his wife, Maria Langer, Jack, a master plumber, began building his business with the age old principles of determination, integrity, and hard work. Working out of a used station wagon and his garage, Jack made himself available to his customers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including Holidays!

Long hours and hard work, along with H. Jack's goal of customer satisfaction, soon saw his business growing. But Jack knew that something else was needed. He needed to develop not just his reputation and dependability , but he needed to let the public know he was out there for them and that he was the best man for the job.

Jack knew that humor is the best medicine, even for clogged drains! Thus Jack's own unique style of commercials was born. "I want to be your plumber!" and "No problem!" along with a good dose of humor soon made his company a house-hold name.

His first commercial featured him dressed in surgeon's greens, waiting in an operation room as an ailing water heater is wheeled into the room on a gurney. He "operates" on the defective unit removing wiring, valves and a ...rubber duck! Thus he is tagged "The Doctor of Plumbing!".

As business grew so did the demand for his services. Always with an ear bent to his customer's needs, Jack opened shop in three other locations over the years along with adding Heating and Air Conditioning to his forte while never losing track of his goal to offer the best customer service in the industry .

Today, with the added assistance of his family and many long-term loyal employees, H. Jack continues to offer the fastest, most dependable service in town. Each company location continues to grow and develop, adding services from bathroom remodeling to backflow testing and certification.
