Spring Tip:

We always recommend turning off your main water supply if leaving the home for an extended period of time. ie.. weekend trip, vacation.  This will avoid a water pipe break and washing machine hose bursting.

In the spring time always inspect or have a professional plumber inspect your outdoor hose hydrant. Hose hydrants will freeze and split inside the wall if you leave your garden hose attached all winter. Storm and sanitary sewers should also be maintenanced by a professional to avoid back-up from the spring thaw.
